His sister, who was sat on the beach, noticed he hadn't surfaced after around 45 seconds. Just then, the general crowd was shuffling onto shore. A supposed shark had been spotted in the water. After the lifeguards had located Stowaway, he was rushed to the nearest hospital, a shark attack had left him with no legs. His parents would pick up his sister at the beach to meet the helicopter at the hospital.


After many months of surgeries, Stowaway made a recovery, albeit, will never walk again. He was bound to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. In the incoming years, Stowaway would enter a downward spiral, delving into a life of depression and drugs.
